Phil Mickelson has been around the PGA Tour too long to sulk about missing out on this week's Tour Championship at East Lake.

Why bother wasting energy on something like that when he can be living his best life, poolside?

That was Lefty's message to the world Friday, as he posted to Twitter a picture of himself lounging shirtless and possibly about to swig straight from a bottle of 1985 Haut-Brion.

The 49-year-old has won the Tour Championship twice, in 2000 and 2009 — beating out runner-up Tiger Woods on both occasions.

But both legends are at home this week after failing to finish in the top 30 of the FedExCup standings heading into the final round of the playoffs.

No word on what Woods has been up to, but Mickelson obviously is at peace.

And to anyone looking to follow his lead, a quick online search reveals that you can expect to pay about $600 for a bottle of that Haut-Brion.
