Astros' Ryan Pressly did his job and it have cost him.

Pressly entered Game 6 of the American League Championship Series in relief of Josh James. He got Didi Gregorius to ground out with the bases loaded in the top of the third, but Pressly came up gimpy.

He met with the trainer and went straight into the clubhouse, according to the Houston Chronicle. The Astros announced he had knee discomfort and is day to day.

Rookie Jose Urquidy replaced him in the game and gave up a home run to Gio Urshela in the top of the fourth. He was able to get out of the inning though with a 3-2 lead.

Pressly dealt with a knee injury throughout the season and missed two months toward the end of the year.

He signed a two-year, $17.5 million extension before the year.
