There's a dinosaur loose in Florida. OK, technically it's an alligator, but a video that went viral Sunday shows a monster reptile roaming around a golf course.

Sarasota resident Charles Helms last week posted a video on social media of an estimated 15-foot long beast taking a stroll at Buffalo Creek Golf Course.

"I was stunned and silent," Helms told WFTS-ABC TV in Tampa. "I didn't know if we were being punked or something.

"It was just laying down, resting, when it got up and started moving towards the big lake."

The video was posted May 25.

We've seen gator fights and snake-chomping gators before on Florida's links. This one might be the scariest.
