We've all had brain cramps — just not in front of thousands of people.

One Lakers fan made an embarrassing blunder during an in-game contest Friday night at Staples Center. The "lucky" contestant, David, needed to guess whether the next card available on the screen was higher or lower than the previous card. Simple, right?

The first card revealed Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma, who wears No. 0. Easy, that means the next number can't possibly be lower, so ... oh, David.

Game over. Three is definitely higher than zero. Should have gone old school and counted with those fingers, buddy.

If the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame adds a fan section in the future, let's put David right next to this incredible game of tic-tac-toe.
