Isaiah Austin had his moment at the NBA Draft  on Thursday night, though it may not have been the way he'd dreamed it as a kid.

Commissioner Adam Silver took the stage between the 15th and 16th picks of the evening to present Austin with an honorary selection.

The crowd at the Barclays Center rose to its feet to shower Austin with praise.

"It's one of the biggest blessings of my life," Austin told ESPN's Jay Williams after the moment.

"When one door closes, God opens another," he said. "I'm gonna dream again."

Austin left his plans for the future vague, telling the crowd, "I'm gonna go around and share my story with as many people as I can."
