Former Auburn player will reportedly join Bo Pelini at Youngstown State

Former Auburn defensive end Elijah Daniel will reportedly join former Nebraska coach Bo Pelini at Youngstown State, according to AL.com

Daniel was dismissed from the Tigers following his arrest on multiple charges of burglary and theft in May with bonds totaling $24,000. Martin Weinberg, Daniel's attorney, confirmed he will sign with the Penguins, according to the report

Youngstown State has a star-studded staff that includes Pelini and former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel, who is the president of the university. 

Daniel was expected to be a heavy contributor for Auburn this fall. He played in all 27 games during his first two seasons and finished with 15 tackles and one sack in 2014.
