If there's anything more American than dressing up head-to-toe in red, white and blue while lifting weights to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song, we haven't found it.

South Alabama's football team took its annual offseason "Squat-athon" to a new level last week, and the Founding Fathers would have tipped their caps. Thanks to the university's production crew, we have video evidence of the performance.

The school's initials are U.S.A. so it would have been wrong to not pay tribute to Independence Day, right?

The Sun Belt squad isn't the first team to use the song, made famous by the WWE legend, as an anthem. Before Blaine Gabbert was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011, a parody video was made to describe how "Blaine Mania" was sweeping the nation in true American fashion.
