July is “Talkin’ season,” and the SEC will lead the Power 5 conferences with “Kickoff ‘15” soon.

Here’s a primer for the event:

WHAT: SEC Football Media Days

WHEN: July 13-16

WHERE: Hyatt Regency Birmingham-Wynfrey Hotel (Hoover, Ala.)

Monday, July 13

SEC commissioner: Greg Sankey
Auburn: Gus Malzahn
Florida: Jim McElwain
Vanderbilt: Derek Mason

What to watch: Sankey in his first SEC Media Day. How much will Malzahn — and McElwain, for that matter — talk about former Florida coach and new Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp?

Tuesday, July 14

South Carolina: Steve Spurrier
Texas A&M: Kevin Sumlin
Mississippi State: Dan Mullen
Tennessee: Butch Jones

What to watch: Any Spurrier press conference is must-see TV. Sumlin and Mullen bring back high-powered offenses, and Jones built optimism with another strong recruiting class in Knoxville.

Wednesday, July 15

Alabama: Nick Saban
Kentucky: Mark Stoops
Arkansas: Bret Bielema
Missouri: Gary Pinkel

What to watch: The SEC West and SEC East champion coaches are on the podium. Saban is always the headliner here. Bielema will talk about increased expectations for the Razorbacks.

Thursday, July 16

LSU: Les Miles
Georgia: Mark Richt
Ole Miss: Hugh Freeze

What to watch: Miles will always be Miles, and Richt on the Bulldogs, who likely will be favored to win the SEC East.
