"Monday Night Football" treated viewers to an excellent game between the Raiders and Ravens in Week 1. The two teams needed overtime to decide the winner, and the Raiders ultimately emerged with the unexpected win.

In Week 2, the matchup is decidedly less exciting, but at least one storyline will be prevalent in the mind of viewers. Will Aaron Rodgers be able to bounce back after a terrible Week 1?

Rodgers and the Packers lost 38-3 to the Saints in Week 1. Coach Matt LaFleur said that they were "embarrassed" in the contest, and Rodgers admitted that he played badly. That said, he wasn't too worried about the team. It was just one game, after all.

Nonetheless, the Packers will look to get back on track and they'll have a chance to do so against their divisional rival Lions.

Here is everything to know about ESPN's "Monday Night Football" game for Week 2, including the kickoff time and more.

Who plays on 'Monday Night Football' tonight?

  • Matchup: Lions at Packers
  • Location: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wis.

The Lions are traveling to Green Bay to take on the Packers in Week 2 of "Monday Night Football" on ESPN. Detroit is coming off a loss to the 49ers during which they nearly completed a 24-point comeback in the game's final two minutes. Meanwhile, the Packers are coming off a 35-point loss of their own and are hoping to bounce back against perceived weaker competition.

Every team in the NFC North lost in Week 1, so the winner of this contest will either be tied for first place or sit alone in first place at the end of the week. The Packers, who were favored to win the division, should be highly motivated to earn that honor.
